Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Exemplify Stampin' Up!'s core values: we care about people first, we act with courage, we better our best and we own it.
  2. Lead and manage a team, establishing expectations and holding the team accountable to meeting them (LMA).
  3. Generate ideas for future product innovations and new product lines through observation, product & market research and other methods. Provide the overall product lifecycle marketing vision and plan for assigned product categories, ensuring the products are relevant to the defined target market and coordinate with and complement the overall product offering. Champion products and vision throughout the product lifecycle.
  4. Increase demonstrator engagement through executing innovative solutions by understanding Stampin' Up!'s direct-sales business model, its target audiences (including demonstrators and customers), and company policies/products/programs/procedures.
  5. Drive profitable growth and increase in new customer and demonstrator count by overseeing, as well as participating in the development, implementation, marketing, and analysis of promotions, products, campaigns, and demonstrator incentives. This will be measured by growth in sales and demonstrator count.
  6. Proactively seek out information on marketing and promotional trends and identify how those might apply at Stampin' Up! Monitor industry best practices.
  7. Ensure product lines are properly represented in catalogs, publications, marketing campaigns, product launches, and packaging that includes the writing and presentation of catalog lists, catalog proofing, product requirement documents, and/or creative briefs.

Requirements

  1. BA/BS in marketing or business-related field or equivalent experience accompanied with 5+ years of experience creating and executing sales and marketing plans or product management experience. International direct-selling industry experience a plus.
  2. Proven success in leadership and building collaborative working relationships to meet project timelines and perform with a high level of excellence.
  3. Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. High degree of initiative with ability to perform in an environment of constant change, anticipate needs, make recommendations, solve problems creatively, and inspire others to do the same.
  5. Willingness to work varied hours and schedules on occasion as dictated by business demands.
